EDGE WRAPPING

The link-guided 3CON wrapping units guarantee repeatable uniform, crease-free and taut component edges. We offer two different heating concepts for our edge wrapping technology:

The infrared process for activating adhesives which is well suited for substrates with low 3D-geometrical shapes as well as the hot air activating process proven to be an ideal solution for complex component shapes. We also offer a combination of both processes which may be necessary for some instances.

The following system concepts are available for edge wrapping:
• Single station or dual system
• Inline system with tool changing function
• Inline system enabling multiple configuration options for further handling steps
